Shelley Johnson

Shelley is an occupational therapy professional and a graduate of Texas A&M University (Gig ‘Em Aggies!) She is married to Pete, a retired military veteran, and together they have lived all over the world—an experience that shaped her love for people and community. She is the proud mom of three adult children, Ben, Riley and Brooke. Committed to service, she volunteers as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind, helping prepare future guide dogs to change lives by providing freedom and independence.

Shelley’s family has long-standing ties to Montana. Her father-in-law is a graduate of Whitefish High School and the University of Montana (Go Griz!), and her husband’s grandmother spent her life serving the Whitefish community as a teacher and later as a principal. Service and family are values that run deep and continue to guide her life, and she cannot think of a better community than Whitefish to host, appreciate and fall in love with the songs that are written for people all over the world.
